when trying to emerge chromium...

Hi, I had the same problem.
It could be solved by disabling distcc during build of libvpx.

Indeed. Actually the first thing I do when a build fails is to try and build it by disabling distcc first. If it fails again, then I hunt for answers on the forums...

I could emeged it disabling ssse3 USE flag. But I do not know the consequences yet.
