|
|
Hi. I recently installed gentoo and I really like it alot.
Since I have to graphic cards attached I'd like to use xinerama on the machine (something I've used before under slackware). Unfortunately it seems the default compiling does not compile the xinerama modules for Xfree.
How would I do this? (using portage)

Ok thanks. I realized i did a silly mistake. I tried loading xinerama in the modules section with Load "xinerama" when it's supposed to be an Option under ServerFlags.
Now it works.
By the way, does anyone else have problems with the NVdriver when using two nvidia cards?
The cards is a Geforce2 MX (AGP) and a Riva TNT2 Ultra (PCI). The second card (the Riva TNT) works with the NVdriver but if I try loading the first one the x-server bails out with the error "Unable to initialize the NVdriver module". The first card worked fine with the NVdriver when it was the only card in the machine.
Any suggestions? |
