I just installed pidgin by running
Code:
emerge -av pidgin
but now that it's installed I can't seem to find it anywhere in my system. It doesn't come up in a search from my KDE Application Launcher, nor does anything ahppen if I just type
Code:
# pidgin

So I'm at a bit of a loss. Can anybody tell me where to look?

Perchance did you build pidgin without USE="gtk". If you did, set that flag in your place of choice (make.conf or package.use) and re-emerge pidgin.

Thanks. Updating my system with the gtk USE flag did the trick.

Moved from Desktop Environments to Duplicate Threads, please see Pidgin merges fine, but where's the bin?
