LXDE without hal doesn't reboot/shutdown

Recently discovered that when you upgrade upower blocks hal. Removed hal. Now does not work reboot / shutdown. I use a slim. I have a lot on Google about this, but found nothing. lxpolkit installed, but there is no sense of it. What should I do?
