Hi,

I updated to the new baselayout. The migration guide says

Quote:
Also, /etc/conf.d/net (oldnet) no longer uses bash-style arrays for configuration. Please review /usr/share/doc/openrc-<version>/net.example for configuration instructions.

My /etc/conf.d/net file has

Quote:

dns_domain_lo="cauchy"

config_eth0=("dhcp")
dhcp_eth0="nontp nonis"

config_eth1=("dhcp")
dhcp_eth1="nodns nontp nonis"

config_eth2=("dhcp")

If it needs it, how would this be converted to the new style? I do not fully understand the examples in the /usr/share directory.

Thanks.

old: config-eth0.dummy=("blah")
new: config_eth0_dummy="blah"

old: config-eth0-dummy=("blah")
new: config_eth0_dummy="blah"

and : " args1 + args2 " is now " args1 + newline + args2 "
old: config_eth0=("dumm1 dummy2")
new : config_eth0="dummy1
dummy2"

for most users, it's just removing ( ) so
