GLIB Error after emerge??????

I unmerged then emerged glib in order to get kde arts to compile. I've since then been getting this error when I try & compile xmms. I've tried emerging gcc, glib & glibc but it's the same.

This is the error:

checking for glib-config... no
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.2... no
*** The glib-config script installed by GLIB could not be found
*** If GLIB was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in

What have I done to break it!!! Any help would be appreciated.

Where is glib located and is it in your global path?

Check these by using slocate and export.
