|
|
Hi,
Ok, actually I installed Gentoo on a new hdd and my /boot/grub/menu.lst file is exactly like the one showed in doc. (code listing 39).
Now, I would like to re-install back my other hdd in my machine. This hdd contains win98 and Redhat 7.2. It will be on my IDE primary slave.
Do I have to remove grub on this disk? If yes, how?
What I need to modify so I could able to choose between Gentoo and Win98?
Thank you for your help. |

No -- just modify grub to point at the appropriate root partitions of Win98 and RedHat. Check out code listing 40 of the Gentoo Linux 1.1a Installation Instructions and/or check out the Linux+Win9x+Grub HOWTO
