[SOLVED]Can't start kde after world upgrade

I ran world upgrade. I think baselayout upgrade was included. I can't remember if i did conf update after that. Only errors while booting are:
start-stop-daemon couldn't make valid kdm.pid file.
display manager failed to start.

and warning about start/stop_local changing location.

Could baselayout upgrade be related to my problem with starting kde or something else is broken?

Sry if what I just wrote doesn't make sense.

EDIT:OK, I managed to found out that not having nvidia-drivers 270.30 wasn't helping. Now I have nice, not responsive, kde login screen.

Any chance you forgot to rebuild xorg drivers ?

Is something keeping that version out of portage? Even Sunrise overlay, I'm annoyed that people have known that version is required for some time and it still isn't in-tree.

I managed to revive it. Still getting some errors while booting but everything seems to work now.

For anyone else with the same problem:
Upgrading nvidia-drivers to 270.30 makes kde work.
Reinstalling x11-drivers/xf86-input-evdev makes keyboard/mouse work.
