I've recently upgraded to OpenRC

X use to set LANG using /etc/env.d/02locale, (which is):

LANG="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="C"

now it doesn't set LANG unless I put it in ~/.xinitrc

I use slim as a login manager.

anyone know whether I need to set something else or whether there's a bug somewhere?

Did you do env-update after upgrade to OpenRC? If not then try.

Yes, I did env-update.
Thanks

Let me just clarify that LANG is set when I do a terminal login but not when I do an xdm login (using slim).
