Is it possible to create a list of TOR nodes to avoid, perhaps in torrc?

Here's why I'm asking:

I send an encrypted email to a certain person on a regular basis. If I'm not using TOR, I never have a delivery problem. Using TOR, sometimes my email never arrives in the other person's inbox. When I restart /etc/init.d/tor, my email usually then goes through.

I figure when it's not going through, I can add that TOR exit node to a banned list (getting the IP address from whatismyip.com).
