Hi guys,

you use ZRam ?


"tweaks" to cut down latency and improve speed could be:

snappy compression looks like it might be more efficient than lzo (I still have to try out the updated LZO update for 3.9)

if there was a port of LZ4 (e.g. used in ZFSonLinux) I'd also try that out



do any of you have experience with those alternative algorithms ?

I've always used it with the defaults, can't say I've noticed any latency problems as a result of that. Sounds like this might be useful on my netbook with its crappy CPU though.
