Small bugreport:
After emerging 3.3.1.2 there's a faulty TryExec line in
/usr/share/applications/writer-libre.desktop
that should be
Code: | TryExec=lowriter-libre |
instead.
Portage ebuild fixes this with
Code: | #fix desktop files bug #352955
sed -i 's/Exec=oo/Exec=lo/g' "${S}"/desktop/*.desktop.in.in || die "Could not fix desktop files" |
I didn't update my eclass to your changes after 3.3.0.4, but a quick search found no fix in your latest eclass. |

I checked latest revision. Nothing that was broken by your changes, this is an upstream bug that was also present in 3.3.0.4. I'm still using that eclass for 3.3.1.2 without modular boost. |

Shouldn't those QA warnings be treated somehow? They doesn't stop ebuilds from working, although they are probably for something |

Lustmored
they are there for pita.
I also saw paludis warn about virtual/jdk depending on slotted icedtea.
it is just a pain to manage keywords in each and every (boost) ebuild.
so, to keep it simple I have put it in eclass - single point.
may not be acceptable for upstream but who cares.
portage does not complain yet afais. _________________ hear hear |

p.s.: I am so glad we did SLOT the libwpd/g/s libraries; seeing gentoo devs having to fix stuff up for the changes. _________________ hear hear |

Technically, would it be safe to use the unslotted in-portage packages with 3.3.2.2? |

sure, you just need the *-0.{2,9} pkgconfig files versus *-0.{1,8} ones. _________________ hear hear |

I don't get geki overlays libreoffice. I did mask all other to just be able to see:
Code: | !!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "libreoffice" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- app-office/libreoffice-3.3.9999_pre (masked by: missing keyword, invalid: RDEPEND: Invalid atom (app-text/libwpd[tools]:0.9), token 224, invalid: DEPEND: Invalid atom (app-text/libwpd[tools]:0.9), token 228)
- app-office/libreoffice-3.3.99.2 (masked by: invalid: RDEPEND: Invalid atom (app-text/libwpd[tools]:0.9), token 224, invalid: DEPEND: Invalid atom (app-text/libwpd[tools]:0.9), token 225)
- app-office/libreoffice-3.3.2 (masked by: package.mask)
- app-office/libreoffice-3.3.1 (masked by: package.mask) |

Just try to build geki libreoffice-3.3.99.4 using gcc-4.6.0
libwps-0.2 is too pedantic, a not used variable errors out the build. I installed
libwps-0.2.2 from official gentoo and changed the eclass
. |
