Maybe I recompiled something it uses.

Are you sure? Could you take a look at which packages you did (re-)compile before 3.4.0.2?

When you turn on the "Style And Formatting" win with F11 in Writer, is it supposed to be open in Calc?
I find it very annoying to be on in Calc.
It is very useful in Writer but not very in Calc.

mkyral
looks like some localization issue.
you better post to libreoffice mailinglist; starting with the [ build srs ] part until dmake error code 2.
and mention the --with-lang='...' configure flag.

Thanks,
I don't want to be on many mailists, so I create a bug in bugzilla: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38958

No, I'm actually seeing the same thing with the main libreoffice-3.4.1 ebuild in portage now, and I'm using -march=k8-sse3.

it seems that the error is inside 'pyuno', please re-run build
inside this module to isolate the error and/or test your fix:

I have a big screen but I still scroll my a** off with that many lines.
that is no fun to read for anyone within forum threads and blow up the database. ;)

looks like pyuno not supporting python 3.2.
would you mind to paste the complete build.log into an answer post?! :o

No! Don't use pastebin. The pastes expire and also make searching the forum for an error message impossible. Do not use pastebin.

Do put code tags around yours pastes though. It makes them smaller and more readable.

So I started messing with LO too.
I added it to my dev overlay http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=dev/scarabeus.git;a=summary .

It still needs quite lot of love (namely bundled libs and using system dmake :)).

Also I still didn't nail all the configure options and some might be wrong. The list of not determined ones is in filesdir http://git.overlays.gentoo.org/gitweb/?p=dev/scarabeus.git;a=blob;f=app-office/libreoffice/files/libreoffice_options.txt;h=2731e116716e28bce4f6474abc8a33749c934226;hb=HEAD

Since I plan to put this into portage at point it compiles for enough people it would be nice if you guys could help me with debuging it, specially you geki ;)

LibreOffice/OpenOffice has always been a sore point of Gentoo for me. So if you're willing to work on this, I'd love to help. I guess we should join the OpenOffice team? :)

Do you have any interest in the split boost ebuilds as well?

Yeah joining openoffice team crossed my mind. Specialy since it is just suka, but first i want to have something working :)

For split boost don't look at me for touching it, since they dropped cmake build i dont play with them. Ask Markos as he should be maintainer of that thing.

scarabeus
feel free to ask any questions.
do not waste too much time on bundled libs.
either LO fails with system one since internal one is heavily patched, like xmlsec or Gentoo has no package, like graphite2.
well, one exception would be lpsolve. though, you volunteer as well - that is great - seen bugreport.

if system lib worked, be sure, debian and fedora would switch.

well, I guess you read my eclass with commented packages not in DEPEND. ;)

mattst88 and scarabeus
wrt to split-boost, let's see if I get some time to refactor that to a single package next week. :o
