JFYI, app-office/libreoffice updates, i.e. for offlinehelp; and app-office/libreoffice-l10n for 3.5.1 rc2.

I have not built it myself for quite some time.

nss is a system dependency and should not be built.
I do not download the libreoffice nss package.

see ADDONS_SRC at http://code.google.com/p/gekis-playground/source/browse/trunk/app-office/libreoffice/libreoffice-3.6.9999.ebuild

so, there is most likely a configure failure or such.
you may pastebin head -n 5000 /path/to/build.log | less

thanks, yeah that got me wondering why nss was included:

linky: http://nopaste.info/e997915085.html

many thanks in advance :) and of course thanks for your dedicated work :D

use-flags are btw:

USE="branding dbus fonts gnome gstreamer gtk gtk3 java kde opengl xmlsec"

(they're included there anyway)

just ran into the tail_build issue (poppler related ?)

https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-933536-start-0.html , https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-933078-start-0.html

current version is app-text/poppler-0.20.4

so there's no other solution than downgrading poppler ?

I thought that has been addressed already?!
there is poppler-0.20.5, though, who knows if that fixes it.

IIRC, poppler is required only by pdfimport. do you really need that? ;)
otherwise disable it.

edit #1
if you want to check libreoffice commits for anything, i.e. poppler
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/log/?qt=grep&q=poppler

yeah, it seems so

no the pdfimport extension isn't enabled but it still fails

I'd like to post the log-file but it's 24453968 bytes huge 8O

seems I have a very unique system

well, you could try to rm /path/to/build.log and ebuild /path/to/libreoffice.ebuild compile install
that should remove quite some build noise that had been successfully compiled.

got around to do a basic branding for 4.0. feel free to improve and send back to me, thanks! :o
actually, I based it on the old branding colors from dilfridge and scarabeus.

yes, I like it dark violett. I hope you like it, too.
