Hi,
I've got an ati 6970, and I havnt been able to get anything working. Pretty sure I need the 11.1 ati-drivers ( https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353107 )
I tried to use the build from the bugtracker but I was unsuccesful, also using the amd driver from the amd site, which sort of works for a second, and then my system crashes/freezes.
Can someone help me get 11.1 drivers working under gentoo?

| Alright I think I have been able to get the 11.1 ebuild to work, and my system has been stable now for about 15minutes without blowing up. So I suppose this is solved now. |
