Clean.
Configuration file, updated:
~/.conky/config.lua:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- Main configuration module
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--[[
   configure() :

   widget[.at(x, y)].name( [widget_argument], ... [, label] )

   - optional widget_argument must be either a single value or a table
   - the last argument is the label and is optional
   - at() specifies the widget's position in Conky's window
--]]

-- Don't want debug output
-- conky.debug = true

-- Sets current theme
themes.current = "purple"

-- Manually placed:
widget.configure( {
   -- widget.clock() argument is optional.
   widget.clock{ bg_image = string.format("images/%s.png", themes.current) },

   widget.at(50, 275).filesystem( '/', 'Root' ),
   widget.at(75, 325).filesystem( '/home', 'Home' ),
   widget.at(100, 375).filesystem( '/var', 'Var' ),
   widget.at(125, 425).network( 'eth0' ),
   widget.at(150, 255).disk(),
   widget.at(175, 305).memory(),   -- Has swap and RAM combined

   widget.at(35, 445).CPU(),
   widget.at(60, 495).nvidia.temp.core(),
   widget.at(150, 475).nvidia.freq(),

   widget.at(0, 535).portage(),

   -- But also:
   --widget.at(150, 250).memory.ram( 'RAM' ),
   --widget.at(175, 300).memory.swap( 'Swap' ),
} )

Thanks 8) . FTR: actually text and rings are drawn from within LUA scripts instead of having to sync positions between conky config and scripts. Besides I also happened to discover discrepancies between colors in fonts drawn by conky and cairo in LUA scripts.

Heya defer-: What bandwidth/network monitoring app is that? I Googled around for 'linux wlan stats bandwidth usage' and came across this article which is an annotated exhaustive list of apps but I can't figure out which one your using.

defer-'s post is from years ago. He might not be frequenting this message board still. So do any of you people know what app defer's was using?
