Yes, I actually bought one of these things. It looks like a half-way decent netbook for Linux (128mb RAM, arm5tel processor, rt3070 wifi, etc). Now the issue I have is, how do I get Gentoo on this? I've been following how to get a small Debian install on it, but I'd rather have Gentoo.
It has a 2GB NAND flash chip inside it with 300MB for mtdblock7 and 1.7GB for mtdblock9. I'd like to combine those (if possible) to make a single 2GB area and start my Gentoo install on that. |

So far, I'm able to boot the Debian SD Card (thanks to abrasive) and get a prompt. I'll try a simple Debian install and try to get Gentoo installed on either the SD Card or the onboard NAND Chip.
From what it looks like, I have to keep the MTD layout or risk bricking the system. I'd really like to use BTRFS on this. |
