Dear list,

I recently noticed, that openssl somehow seems to use IPv6-only sockets even if given
IPv4 addresses to listen on.

One example is the ocsp command given the option "-url http://localhost:8888" or "-url http://127.0.0.1:8888".
In both cases, a PF_INET6 socket is created and I am wondering if and where I can change this behaviour.

Some months ago, this scenario worked with IPv4 sockets but I don't know, which upgrades or
configuration changes might have altered this.

Thanks,

Dirk
