Hi all,
I want to get my Logitech Rumblepad (Cordless USB) to work. It works with the standard joydev driver for now and th directional pad does not function properly. So I wanted to install the iforce module. (Would that give me rumbling btw.? ) Bu when I do a modprobe iforce it states iforce could not be found. A modprobe -c gives details about what is misconfigured:
Code: |
...
# Miscellaneous file and directory names
generic_stringfile=/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r5/modules.generic_string
pcimapfile=/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r5/modules.pcimap
isapnpmapfile=/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r5/modules.isapnpmap
usbmapfile=/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r5/modules.usbmap
parportmapfile=/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r5/modules.parportmap
ieee1394mapfile=/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r5/modules.ieee1394map
pnpbiosmapfile=/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r5/modules.pnpbiosmap
depfile=/lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r5/modules.dep
persistdir=/var/lib/modules/persist |
So apparently modprobe looks under the gentoo-r5 sources for the modules, but I have gentoo-r7 installed. Where can I correct the path settings? I could just cp the modules over, but thats kinda ugly...
If I would get iforce to work, what joystick settings would I have to set in GXMame? So long I can only use my buttons but neither the directional pad, nor the analog sticks...
Would be greatful for any suggestions!
