vorrei sapere se è possibile mettere tale processo (dhcp) in background, visto che rallenta moltissimo (qualche secondo) il processo di boot.
in archlinux lo si fa mettendo @ (at) davanti a network nei demoni all'avvio, in gentoo non ho capito come si faccia.
grazie e scusate delle banalità, ma sto facendo pratica e sinceramente gentoo gestisce in modo molto differente da ubuntu o arch o slack tutto :)

puoi provare a modificare il file /etc/conf.d/rc
