What you are giving is just some lines showing you have an error.
As useful as saying "i have an error, what should i do ? Thank you".
And as useful as answering to that would be a "Than fix it. You're welcome".
So as portage told you (the "if you need support" part), provide config.log if you need more help, but right now everyone could see using i486-pc-linux-gnu-gcc and -march=686 gave a clue you use a i486-stage to build an i686 system.
So first thing would be if you are installing gentoo : pickup another stage file (an i686 one) and if your gentoo is install : read and apply https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Changing_the_CHOST_variable
I'm afraid searching any compiling errors with having such a bad system is a lost cause, better fix that first. |

looks like someone posted errors related to this at http://pastebin.com/X1qhd5Rn. updating to portage-2.2.10 did correct this. |
