I have this nasty problem:
Sometimes while extremely using the keyboard (for example while playing Quake 3) keys stay activated (=being pressed) even though I don't press them anymore.
Let me explain this with Quake 3: My player keeps on walking to the left though I stopped pressing the left move key, for example.
This must be an XFree86 issue because I started Q3 from the bash with xinit, no KDE...
Any idea? |

I don't think this will help much, but this same thing happened to me playing Q3 on Window$. I never really fixed it until I moved from WinME to win2k. |

Well this is not a Q3 issue! It must be a XFree86 issue because the keyboard repeating also sometimes occur in KDE... |

yous worndering, but have you spilled anything in the kb?
As for quake i've had this problem in windoze. Just push the key again and it'll fix it. I thing it's just that the keyup message get lost. |
