Gmail has a very handy feature, where your email addr is streamkid@gmail.com, and you can use streamkid+whateveryoulike@gmail.com.
Is there something equivalent in postfix?

Basically I don't know how that feature is called, so I don't know what to search. "postfix email tag" and relative keywords didn't produce anything.

Thanks

I found it by searching google for 'wildcard email address postfix'.
Gmail also can do user.anything@gmail.com.

Please see your /etc/postfix/main.cf:

Code:
# ADDRESS EXTENSIONS (e.g., user+foo)
#
# The recipient_delimiter parameter specifies the separator between
# user names and address extensions (user+foo). See canonical(5),
# local(8), relocated(5) and virtual(5) for the effects this has on
# aliases, canonical, virtual, relocated and .forward file lookups.
# Basically, the software tries user+foo and .forward+foo before
# trying user and .forward.
#
#recipient_delimiter = +

Have fun :-)

That's why having a 'clear' config file isn't always a good idea
Thanks :P

Great! Could you please add [solved] to the thread so that other can either skip it when they want to help so. or explicitely open it when they search for help? Thanks. 8)
