Anyone had any luck with the SunPCI cards in Gentoo? I have the old K6 version and have had little luck finding any llnux support for it.
Thanks,

I've tried to use a Solaris binaries emulation from the kernel. I've got some of my Solaris progs (mostly simple ones) working. Unfortunately, Sun PCi tries to install a driver, and this is where it fails. _________________ Alexey Parshin |

So given the driver issue, it sounds like I have two options. 1. Put Solaris back on. 2. Wait for someone to port the driver to linux for hardware that no one really cares too much about. Then there's always the 3rd whch is let it sit in the box and do nothing. Given I can buy a new PC at Fry's for $300 that has 20x the capabilities of the K6-200 on that board, it's not that big of a deal.
If anyone gets a wild hair and wants to write the driver, you have at least 1 tester here.
