Before giving me grief let me say that yes, I know there are tons of "can't boot" threads on the forums and yes I did check, but I can't find anything that specifically addresses my problem.
I just upgraded from kernel from 3.10.7-gentoo to latest stable 3.10.32-gentoo. I am running LUKS on LVM and use an initramfs. I use genkernel to take care of all of this for me.
Whenever I boot, I am prompted for my password to unlock the volume as usual, and then it hangs when loading modules. It consistently hangs at Quote: | scanning for pata_pdc202xx_old...pata_pdc202xx_old loaded | .
I am not sure what is going on or more importantly how to troubleshoot it. Any ideas? |
