Mldonkey is working, there are files being shared, I imported nodes.dat from 2 sources with
Code: | kad_load /home/tkzv/nodes.dat |
Yet, kad_boots gives 0 peers, and kad_stats gives "Kademlia is DISABLED Kademlia Connectivity: NOT enough online peers"
What's up? I don't think there's no peers left alive.
net-p2p/amule-2.3.2-r1 doesn't work — it just eats all memory. But in the brief time when the machine still responds, it displays about 100 peers.
net-p2p/mldonkey-3.1.5-r1, USE="ocamlopt -bittorrent -doc -fasttrack -gd -gnutella -gtk -guionly -magic"
Update 1: same for net-p2p/mldonkey-3.1.6-r1, USE="ocamlopt -bittorrent doc fasttrack gd gnutella -gtk -guionly magic upnp"
Update 2: enabled "enable_kademlia = true" in downloads.ini
Now I get: "Kademlia is enabled Kademlia Connectivity: NOT enough online peers ,there maybe a problem with incoming udp packets" and still "Boot peers: 0". I am behind a firewall. What does this warning mean? Is it critical, or can Kad still function despite it?
And another question: how to create default bittorrent.ini? (After building with USE="bittorrent".) Mldonkey refuses to work with default settings, cannot alter them without the file and can't use the file from version 2.x. |
