I'm getting nothing but static playing wma files with cmus. Is this a known issue? Or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Thank you for any help. _________________ Anyone who is not confused by quantum theory does not truly understand it. |

I can't seem to get to the homepage for cmus, but have you tried mplayer? Which output plugin are you using? It could be an endian issue. _________________ Gentoo PPC FAQ: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-ppc-faq.xml |

Well it should be http://onion.dynserv.net/~timo/cmus.html but I guess dynserv.net is down right now or something. There's a freshmeat page, but I'm not sure how much that helps. Mplayer can play the files just fine. Alsa is my only output plugin configured right now, so I'm assuming cmus is using that. Heh. _________________ Anyone who is not confused by quantum theory does not truly understand it. |

The endian issues have been fixed in cmus 2.3.5 and cmus 2.4.0! Get them from http://cmus.sourceforge.net/ or soon directly from gentoo portage! |
