I have a Averatec 3150H with the touchpad (mouse). Recently installed Gentoo on it and got it up and running just fine, however the touchpad mouse just doesnt work. I will be using a USB mouse, but it would be nice not to have to connect it if I need to do something quick, etc; Does anyone experience similar problems and know a fix? |

I am not too familar with your laptop, but on my dell laptop i had to change to the "IMPS/2" protocol to get the touchpad to work. If that doesnt fix you might want to post your XF86Config file so we can help you better. _________________ Long live the gentoo forums!!!!! |

I'mh having that problem 2 since using the 2.6 kernel. I guess it could be a configuring problem but pnp says it detects my touchpad :S. Every pipe goes to my usb mouce (even psaux :S). |
