Doing like shown in the https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Raspberry_Pi/Cross_building gives me an error:

crossdev -v -t armv6j-hardfloat-linux-gnueabi
* UNKNOWN OPTION: '-v'


since -v doesn't exist, what was the authors idea it should do?
