Hello,
According to Asterisk, there should be a jack extension and Application:
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/Asterisk+cmd+jack
Which I found on an ubuntu system which I administrator: Quote: | # asterisk -r
Privilege escalation protection disabled!
See https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/x/1gKfAQ for more details.

afterthought*CLI> module show like jack
Module Description Use Count
0 modules loaded | And the module isn't even installed:
Ubuntu: Quote: | # find /usr/lib/asterisk/modules -name "*j*"
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/format_jpeg.so
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/app_jack.so
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/func_jitterbuffer.so | Gentoo: Quote: | # find /usr/lib/asterisk/modules -name "*j*"
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/format_jpeg.so
/usr/lib/asterisk/modules/func_jitterbuffer.so | I don't see any use flags for it on Gentoo. What could I be missing?
Thanks. _________________ Michael |

I tried using the current ebuild, editing it, and adding the app_jack to the menuselect: Quote: | use_select jack app_jack codec_resample | But unfortunately, I see codec_resample installed, but I don't see app_jack. I suppose I'm at a loss now and just spinning my wheels. _________________ Michael |
