Need a bit of advice here, I'm running my website in a VPS with 1.4 Gig of RAM with a LAMP config currently on 32 Bit Gentoo. Since I'm using Drupal which makes a lot of db calls an efficient db is extremely beneficial. I went with 32 Bit due to the mind set of conserving RAM.
Anyway I'm looking for general opinion's on would it be worth going going with 64 Bit with only 1.4 Gig of RAM? _________________ Reject The Herd

I really don't think you're conserving too much RAM (if any) by going with 32-bit. I have been running a LAMP setup on a 64-bit machine for a while now and have had no issues. |

Yeah, I've been suspecting that, I think bennies of MySQL on 64 Bit will be well worth the time for the rebuild.
Thanks
