hpijs 1.4.1 not working properly

Portage keeps wanting to upgrade to hpijs-1.4.1 when I did an emerge sync.

I keep masking it to prevent this as hpijs 1.4.1 does not work properly with my Deskjet 845c printer; it exits with a segvault.

But when I try to use 1.4.1 with my Deskjet 3420 printer, it does work. So it seems to be only with that/some printers, not all.

hpijs-1.3 works fine though. But I hate keep masking 1.4.1 to prevent the proper version to be replaced... Shouldn't 1.4.1 be masked?
