Hallo zusammen,

wie kann ich die Protokollierung des MySQL-Daemon nach /var/log/mysql/mysql.log abschalten? Ich brauche diese Logs nicht, da ich die Fehlerbehandlung auf Applikationsebene durchführe. Das Log frißt mir nur den Plattenplatz weg. (Das wächst ja wie Unkraut. Eine Stunde Betrieb gleicht auf einem Produktivsystem bei mir hier etwa 50 MB Logfile. Bei durchschnittlich 8 Std bei 5 Werktagen sind das immerhin ~2GB in der Woche.)
In den man pages zu mysqld / safe_mysqld fand ich nichts passendes hierzu. Vielleicht weiss ja einer von euch Rat?
Ansonsten sehe ich gezwungen dem Log via cronjob den Bart abzuschneiden. Aber es geht ja sicherlich eleganter.

hi probier mal in der /etc/mysql/my.cnf config file vor jeder log option ein # zu schreiben dan logt er nicht glaube ich

Danke! Natürlich. Da hätte ich jetzt auch selbst drauf kommen können. Nun ja. Denkblockade.
