I recently moved (to another country) and have discovered to my horror that gtk-gnutella no longer works as brilliantly as it did back home.
Specifically, I get zero search results. Nix. Nada. Zilch. Not even a search for "Britney Spears" turns up anything. Though I am behind a firewall, I have the ports forwarded and gtk-gnutella gives me the nice little happy face and the leaf icons in the lower right-hand corner of the window.
The proof that this isn't a simple network issue comes through a comparison with Frostwire, which works just fine on the same machine with the same network setup.
I have tried both the default port (6346) and a custom port, all the while making sure that they are forwarded at the firewall, but so far, nothing has worked.
Ideas?
