I am currently learning Java and would like to find an application similar to Glade for developing a GTK/GTK+ user interface for my Java apps.
1) Is there anything open-source or free for Java developers like glade for GTK/GTK+?
2) Are there any other open-source or free apps like glade, but for Java and some other graphical toolkit that is freely distributable like GTK?
I must say that I don't quite like VisualAge for Java very much. _________________ -----------------------------------------

Try netbeans, it has a nice and powerful GUI editor. AFAIK all JDKs and JREs contain the Swing and AWT toolkits, so there should be no need for an extra toolkit. |
