A topic today on /. had me curious what our user to moderator ratio is, but I see no info on moderators.
How many active moderators does FGO currently have?

I think you're talking apples vs oranges. I don't believe there is generally any such thing as moderation here - you certainly don't see this post getting mod points for "+5 Insightful" nor "-1 Troll". Nor is there any real need to, since most of what happens here is Q&A.
There are moderators, like NeddySeagoon and d2_racing, that I can recall at the moment, but they're not the same as on Slashdot. They're uber-question-answerers and handle abuse situations. On the right above each thread, there's also a "Report this topic" link for reporting bad threads - I've reported a few spam threads, myself. I suspect that the moderators field those reports and take appropriate action. In general, topics float to the top of the list by recent activity, but some are marked "sticky" and stay at the top. I suspect the moderators manage that, as well.
Obviously your question could be better answered by a moderator. _________________ .sigs waste space and bandwidth |

Yeah, but you invoked Slashdot, which brings to mind something else. _________________ .sigs waste space and bandwidth |

Our project's homepage, but that reflects only the number of global moderators and site admins. For local moderators, take a look at each international and arch subforum. _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." -- Calvin |
