|I spent a few min here researching a Christmas present my parents are going to get me just to see exactly what im getting into if i want to try to use it with gentoo.
I went thorough our forums then expanded to google just to see what else is out there about it.
Might be showing my age but I'm just amazed at some of the immaturity and lack of any sort of technical skillbase that a lot of other distros have.
I'm only amazed at how many threads and such i found today that said solved or fixed or some such nonsense when its obviously not solved or fixed or even corrected
like one fix for a library that wouldn't compile, without any error messages even being posted the FIX was installing widows vista in a virtual machine.
its like using a nuke to pluck a splinter out of your finger geeze
at least there is the gentoo community who even in this day of age upholds some very high (at least to me) standards of technical ability without the superiority complex (as a whole, there is exceptions to everything)
I applaud you all.
A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it.
