sono convinto che questo errore di compilazione nasca da qualche misconfigurazione del mio sistema, ma non riesco assolutamente a trovarla.
qualcuno sa darmi una mano?

provato, ma non funziona.
però ho trovato un baco specifico per questo problema.
ho anche scoperto un workaround divertente quanto balordo:
1. disinstallare lvm2;
2. installare device-mapper;
3. salvare /usr/lib/libdevmapper.a e disinstallare device-mapper;
4. chiamare emerge -uDN world.
