How can the GUI style of KDE4 applications be changed? My window manager is Fluxbox and the GUI style from KDE4 apps (like Kile 2.1 or the new Kcalc) differs from the one in KDE3 apps (like Kile 2.0 or the old Kcalc). Thanks.

Use the QtCurve GTK/QT3/QT4 style:
gtk-engines-qtcurve for gtk
qtcurve for qt3
qtcurve-qt4 for qt4
To change the style use /usr/qt/3/bin/qtconfig for qt3 and /usr/bin/qtconfig for qt4 or "/usr/kde/3.5/bin/kcmshell style" and "/usr/kde/4.3/bin/kcmshell style".

Thanks for your reply. Which package contains kcmshell (4) and the style module? kcmshell (3.5) belongs to kdelibs-3.5 but kdelibs-4 doesn't contain the kcmshell command. Furthermore, kcmshell's (3.5) style module is missing:

Code:
$ /usr/kde/3.5/bin/kcmshell style
kbuildsycoca running...
kcmshell (kdelibs): WARNING: Could not find module 'style'.
$ /usr/kde/3.5/bin/kcmshell --list
The following modules are available:
$

For the modules you need kde-base/systemsettings. When you run /usr/bin/systemsettings, you should get the whole KDE Control Center. Navigate your way to the style page. I'm not sure if the kcmshell command is in another package.

kde3: kcontrol
kde4: kcontrol, systemsettings, kcmshell (I don't know for sure)
