I just upgraded to Timidity 2.12.0.
Everything used to work fine before,
but now whenever I try to run it, it crashes with a segfault while trying to start artsd.
Now, I am running Gnome 2.0 and obviously using esd. So, while looking at timidity -h, it says i can tell it to use esd instead with the timidity -Oe flag.
Unfortunately no matter what I do, it still tries to use artsd. Anyone conquor this problem?
Thanks |

easy. just load up artsd before lauching timidity. preferably if you use timidity often, load up artsd on X startup. _________________ [resident anime junkie] -- not just a linux freak. |
