I emerged aterm and it finished succesfully. I see the list of files it installed, but there is no "aterm" just things like adiff etc. I tried whereis aterm and just typing aterm but nothing was found.

I thought this was a replacement for xterm. Am I wrong? Or is the ebuild broken?

Thanks
Jeff

I made the same mistake. You actually emerged Aterm's development library.

For the package you want type:

Code:
emerge x11-terms/aterm

For future reference try:
Code:
emerge -s aterm

You will get a list of matching packages (if there are more then one). Then choose the one you want by typing the full path as above.[/code]
