I did an update yesterday and cannot emerge the new gcc. It dies with the following error:

OK, problem solved ... I guess. After a few tries I just skipped the gcc emerge and did everything else (including KDE4, it took a while!), and when I was done went back and tried emerging gcc again. It worked just fine. Don't know why!
