I have a few different computers on a home network. I have dynamic dns (dyndns) setup through my router and my TMZ on the router is my gentoo linux box. Everything on this box works great over the internet. Ok now here is my question:

My Gentoo box for example is: mybox1.homelinux.org (one of dyndns's domains)

Is there anyway I can setup forwarding on gentoo machine that if I create another domain on dyndns that everything for that domain would go to another machine on my network.

For instance:

mybox1.homelinux.org: would by my gentoo box
mybox2.homelinux.org: would be a windows machine
mybox3.homelinux.org: would be another linux box.

? So depending on how the gentoo box is accessed by the domain name it would forward everything (http, ftp, sshd, etc.) to the appropriate machine?

Any help would be great and thanks in advance,
Randy

You can do it for some protocols (like HTTP) where the client tells the server which hostname they're using. But in general, most protocols don't do that, so it'd be hard for the server to figure out which hostname they were using.
