Hi people,
i have a strange problem. I'm trying to emerge vmware-workstation-6.5.2.156735, BUT there is no ebuild fo it.
I have ebuilds for 5.5.9.126128 and for 6.5.3.185404. The tree is synced. I have looked at http://packages.gentoo.org and there is said that 6.5.2 is stable on x86. I looked in http://www.gentoo-portage.com and there are only two ebuilds - for 5.5.9 and for 6.5.3. I don't wont neither of them.
How to emerge 6.5.2 ?
Help please :)

old ebuilds can be found here.
And according to that page, 6.5.2 has been removed....

A Sidenote: Why use an old version?

cheers

I guess, I misread you first post.

These are the right ebuilds - the last number is the internal build or vcs number. just pick the right main version.

i.e 6.5.3.185404 should work for 6.5.3.
If you want to check, have a look into the ebuild.

cheers
