I saw this article on Slashdot. It seems kind of outdated, and Galeon seems much faster then when I first started using it (his tests show it slower then Opera by quite a margin). Nonetheless, it offers a nice comparison of the the major linux web browsers for anyone who is still looking around.

Half the point of Gentoo is that you get the latest and greatest, and this guy was reviewing Konqueror 2.2.1.

I'm running Konqueror 3.0 as my main browser, and as far as I'm concerned there really is nothing to beat it (except maybe the CVS version with tabbed browsing, not that tabbed browsing actually excites me that much).

I run kde3, but I love Galeon. I love tabs, and it makes my webbrowsing much more fun, but it is all just a person's preference.
Konq isn't bad though, it is my second fav now that I got kde3.

I'm quite happy with mozilla 1.1a, although aa fonts in mozilla still leave a lot to be desired.

Once Konqueror beats out Galeon in terms of tabbing, I'm there. Non-AA'd fonts are killer.

Konqueror already got tabs (in 3.1alpha1).

Yeah, but I'm one of those behind-the-times 3.0.2 users.
