I am having a really weird problem on my server. When trying to run "Emerge php" or "emerge mod_php" i get the following error, always at the same position while compiling:
<compilation command ges here>
Killed
Make: Waiting for unfinished jobs...
!!! Emerge php failed!
I have apache2.
EDIT: Now I have some more information:
I cd:ed to /var/tmp/portage/php-4.3.2-r2/work/php/php-4.3.2 and ran "make -d" to give more debugging information. It gave:

 I'm getting seriously annoyed by this problem now since i really need php and mod_php. I have also tried emerge sync several times, removing the /var/tmp/portage/php-4.3.2-r2 dir and "restart" from the beginning
Please Help!

| Perhaps /var/ ran out of space, or you don't have enough swap space (making the kernel kill applications). |

df says that the /var partition if tull to only 40%
memory: i have 15 000 kb free physical and no swap is used = memory is sufficent.
Any more ideas? |
