app windows not visible in sawfish/gnome

hi everyone,

I'm using sawfish/gnome and occasionally (not sure how/why it happens) I go to launch an application/term/anything and I can see it loaded in the taskbar, but the window never appears. I click on the application in the taskbar to make it appear but nothing happens.

To fix the problem, I'm forced to reload gnome or kill and restart sawfish.

I'm using the latest version of sawfish and gnome.

any ideas?

it turns out that if I click show desktop button the application windows come back. still sorta weird though...although it's better than reloading sawfish...
