Clanlib 2.0

Hi. I want to integrate a Clanlib 2.0 gui into a project because I've already had experience with Clanlib 0.8. I can't get support for Clanlib 0.8 programming anymore and every time I ask I am told I should be using 2.0.

I see there is a version bump request at gentoo bugzilla: bug #288218. Please go there and vote or comment or something if you think having 2.0 in the official tree would be good, so the request gets the attention it deserves.
