Bonjour,

J'ai réveillé ma station Linux dernièrement pour tester un logiciel qui vient de sortir en V5. Et j'ai voulu la mettre à jour.

Il se trouve que depuis la mise à jour, KDM se veut plus se lancer, il se vautre en générant le fichier suivant :

Les recherches google n'ont rien données de probant. Ce que j'ai par contre trouvé, c'est des crashs de KDM quand avec QT 4.5 alpha. Mais pas de confirmation de tels crashs avec la version réelle.

J'imagine que tu as configuré portage pour utiliser elogv. Est ce que tu as jeté un coup d'oeil aux messages ayant trait à X, Qt et kde. Il y a souvent des pilotes ou des libs à recompiler après la mise-à-jour de ces trois là.

J'ai oublié de préciser que j'ai fais un revdep-rebuild après la mise à jour. Et qu'entre le temps ou ça marchait pas et le moment ou j'ai posté, il s'est écoulé les deux jours nécessaires à un emerge -e world :(

Donc tout est recompilé mais KDM crashe toujours au démarrage...
Aie, je sèche aussi. Si besoin, tu peux toujours utiliser xdm ou gdm pour ouvrir tes sessions kde, mais ça n'explique pas le plantage.
Si tu veux creuser, tu peux essayer d'identifier quelle est la version de Qt qui fait planter ton KDM.
