Hi
When I tried to emerge lyx, I got the following peculiar error after it finished compiling everything.

I 'chdir'ed into /var/tmp/portage/lyx-1.3.2/work/lyx-1.3.2 to find that lyx is compiled and is sitting there. It hasn't been copied to its appropriate place. I executed lyx from there and it works.
I even tried to create the directories /var/cache/fonts/source/jknappen and /var/cache/fonts/source/jknappen/ec. It still gives the same error.

just copyied the new Aiksaurus headers to /usr/include, build lyx with FEATURES="-sandbox". then deleted the misplaced Aiksaurus headers.
works fine now.. |

user138, if you are using Aiksaurus-1.0.1 then you may find Bug Report 27648 of interest.
